Who Are We?

Located and based out of Sarasota, Florida. Working directly with our roasters and farmers gives us a close and personal relationship to the coffee and its origins. Our goal is to showcase the best qualities from farmers we stand behind and bring awareness to a more direct, fairly-traded coffee.

The Farmers

Café San Felipe del Ocaso, a woman-owned and operated farm located in San Felipe del Ocaso, Santander, Colombia, grows a variety of coffee called Castillo. The farm, spanning 4 hectares, prioritizes biodiversity and sustainability, as well as houses a diverse array of local flora and fauna. The farm is run by Silvia Paola Agudelo and Aura Lilana Bautista, who have a passion for coffee that goes back many generations. The coffee beans are delicately roasted in small batches to bring out the unique nuances of the Castillo varietal. Through their dedication to the craft, the farmers create a Colombian single-origin coffee that is lightly roasted, with intentional subtleties that harmonize throughout each step of the process. Brewed Monday is proud to be a part of this process and offer this coffee to our customers.
